Trail Pass IPA

Sierra Nevada needs no introduction. Founded in 1980 in Chico, California, they've been one of the most important craft breweries in the US for over four decades. Their Pale Ale basically defined the American craft beer movement. Trail Pass is their entry into non-alcoholic beer, and they've brought the full weight of that experience with them.
Rather than brewing a regular IPA and stripping the alcohol out, Sierra Nevada uses traditional brewing methods to keep Trail Pass below 0.5% ABV from the start. It's hopped with Amarillo and CTZ varieties, coming in at 35 IBU, which gives it real bitterness and a citrus and pine hop character that feels very much like a Sierra Nevada beer.
It's classically Sierra Nevada on the nose and has the body and bitterness to back it up. This is a heavy, full-flavored NA that doesn't feel like it's missing anything. The mouthfeel is substantial, not watery, and the hops really come through with that IPA-like punch you want. If you're a fan of Sierra Nevada you need to seek this one out.
