Electro-Lime

Best Day Brewing is the Sausalito NA brand from founder Tate Huffard, who got the idea after spotting a lonely six-pack of O'Doul's in his fridge next to the craft beer he actually wanted to drink. He spent four years developing the brand before launching in 2021, and Best Day is now the second-biggest independent NA brand in the US. The whole vibe is surf, sun, and no bad days, and the cans look the part.
Electro Lime is a Mexican-style lager which is right up my street. The build is fresh lime purée, sea salt, and New Zealand Motueka hops, which carry their own citrusy lime note that pairs beautifully with the puree. The sea salt brings a hit of naturally occurring electrolytes that subtly shapes the finish. It debuted in 2023 as their first seasonal under the playful "Cerca de Cerveza" tag, which roughly translates to "near beer."
This is the new gold standard for Mexican-style NA beer, and one of the most insanely refreshing NAs I've ever cracked. The lime and salt are perfectly dialed, built into the beer rather than dropped on top, like a real Mexican lager with a fresh squeeze and a salted rim already worked in.
The finish is clean with absolutely zero NA aftertaste, and the can disappears before you've had time to think about it. It's a different league from the Corona NAs and Cerveza Atleticas of the world. Run, don't walk.
