Sam Brown is the founder and sole reviewer behind Promising Beer. He started the site after exploring non-alcoholic beer as an alternative to the increasingly high-ABV craft beers available around his Brooklyn neighborhood.
Every score and tasting note on Promising comes from first-hand experience with the beer. Sam photographs the beers he reviews, researches how they are made, and evaluates each one using the site's consistent 100-point scoring system.
