Introduced in 1986 from the brewers of Guinness comes Kaliber, made with pure Irish spring water, classic Irish barley, and the finest hops.
Brewed as a full-strength lager where the alcohol is removed at the end of the brewing process gives this beer a full-bodied flavor, with none of the alcohol. Kaliber has a balanced tone of malts and hops, it has a sweet taste sweet with hints of caramel, and finishes slightly bitter.
I had no idea Guinness produced a non-alcoholic beer never mind one released 34 years ago! It bears little resemblance to other Guinness products, including the other full-strength lager products they make. Overall, I'm so-so on the taste of this beer, but if strong overly malty notes are your thing, you may feel differently.
