Big Drop only produces non-alcoholic beers using a variety of barleys, ryes, wheat, and oats. Using a wide variety and type of ingredient gives Big Drop the flexibility to craft a wide range of beers and styles, without compromising on taste. Their beers are naturally brewed to less than 0.5% (so, no alcohol-removal process is required).
I'm not sure what method head brewer Johnny Clayton uses to keep the alcohol content low in the Big Drop range of beers, but what it leaves you with is a light-bodied yet punchy pale ale that's hard to believe is an alcohol-free beer.
Strong citrus and pine flavors, whilst pouring light in color leave you with a bold pale ale that's instantly turned into one of my favorites. Having just landed stateside, Big Drop is one to keep an eye on for future releases of their range.
